Job Description

We are Looking for a relifef milker on 850 cows farm, its a fifty bale rotary auto cup remover and auto teat spray , one man shed, should be experienced and confident to run shed by himself. Farm is located close to Gordonton. Candidate must be NZ citizen or open work visa holder.

About
Our dairy farm is situated between Gordonton and Horsham Downs, about 10 minutes north of Hamilton. We have 235 ha with 900 cows to calve. It has a good level of infrastructure, a 50 bail rotary shed with waikato plant, ACRs and protrack drafting, which is complemented by a 450 cow feed-pad. We run a system 4, and feed 1 tonne of maize per cow plus 1 tonne of PKE/ soyabean hull, and other concentrate supplement. everything is delivered through a Keenan mixer wagon. A good range of support equipment and staff to operate is supplied. In conjunction with the main farm we have a 50ha and another 40ha support block which we grow maize, run some young stock and rear some calves. We have a spring calving herd of mainly FJX 500 kg cows. Production goal for the coming season is 375,000 kg ms.
