We have the opportunity for an additional team member to assist on our 750 dairy farm at Tahuna, 20kms north of Morrinsville. The position is for a fixed term 4 month term July - October. If you are a couple it is possible that we will have work for you both.  Duties will primarily be calf rearing & associated tasks, however there will be some milking & general farm work required. No specific farming experience is necessary, although the ability show initiative & face the challenge of learning new skills with confidence is a must.

The role is split between two rotary dairy sheds and includes milking duties along with general day-to-day farm tasks. Experience is preferred but a good attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important. What we offer: Hourly pay, or salary depending on candidate and preference. This job is at least 30 hours work per week.  Wednesdays and Thursdays off.  It will consist mostly of milking and cleaning at cowshed.  When the cows are dry, the work is mostly farm maintenance.
