Looking for a capable person in the shed to help milk 480 cows through a herringbone shed with one of my friendly staff members. Some experience would be preferred but not necessary. We have an onsite 2 bedroom house available if required.  This would be a fixed term contract to help us through the busy part of the season from 1st August to 31st December.

We are looking for someone to come in and cover milkings through the 2026/27 season so staff are able to have annual leave and get other jobs done around the farm during milking hours. Hi we are looking for a reliable person to assist us over the calving period.  Ideally you would have previous experience in both calf rearing and milking and be a New Zealand resident. Once calving is completed ( end of September ) we would be keen for someone to stay on and help with the milkings every 2nd weekend, covering holidays, herd testing and busy periods.  We milk twice a day until January then once a day til season ends.  This is a casual job but there are more hours available if wanted throughout the season for the right person
