Applicant preferably someone who has done 2yrs of dairy farming and is motivated to learn, and feed cows.  Farm details: The dairy platform is approx.420ha effective, located 13km/13mins from the township of Waimate. Current Peak milk 940-980 cows through 54 bale rotary, with halter collars, with slight increase likely and in-shed feeding & pro-track like gate Irrigation: dryland farm. Cows will be milked twice daily for majority of season– 4/4.30am & 2pm cups on.  Typical breaks post calving of 8.30-9.30am, 11.30-2pm. Must have basic Dairy farming skills eg Effluent irrigation, Milking, shed hygiene, animal health, machinery, a keen eye for safety, great communication and a can do positive attitude. Must be able to work sole charge.  Someone wanting to progress in the Dairy industry with a passion for animal health. Good stockman ship and a genuine interest for animals.  Must be reliable. Drug free and want to work . Must have NZ working rights.
