Must be a NZ Citizen or have NZ Residency to apply.  We are looking for a 2IC/Assistant Manager that comes with a good attitude, is honest, reliable and has had at least 3+ years dairy farming experience.  Farm duties will include but not limited to the following - Milking cows through a 36a/s h/b shed that has in-shed feeding with 1 other farm employee.  You must have good knowledge of animal health, can treat animals with required medication and have  good record keeping.  Along with the farm owner you will help monitor pasture cover, feed intakes and cow condition.  You will also be responsible for keeping the dairy plant at a high standard of cleanliness.  Other duties are managing the effluent system and keeping within compliance, setting up break fences, weed spraying and work within best practice environmental guidelines.
