We are seeking an enthusiastic person as soon as possible, with a minimum of 2 seasons NZ dairy farming experience. You will be required to assist with all aspects of  day to day dairy farming. This position is available to NZ citizens / residents with a valid NZ work visa, we are NOT accredited employers. We spring Calve 750 cows milked twice daily through a 60 Bale Rotary cowshed. You will be working alongside a  team of 4 full time and 1 part timer  An excellent 2 bedroom house is available We are a family owned and operated Dairy Farming Business with excellent long serving  Managment  The farm is flat, centrally raced with excellent infrastructure utilizing modern machinery and farming practices   You must have a genuine desire to be part of a thriving Dairy industry. Milking - Manage efficient and hygienic milking routine.  Follow procedure to produce high quality milk. Animals - Manage safe handling of animals, report any health and welfare issues as per farm policy.  Manage the moving and handling animals safely and observe and report on wellbeing of all classes of stock.     Feed - Set break fences and feeds out as directed.  Manage pasture and crop weed control and learn about feed allocations and health issues associated with crops.  Environment - Manage dairy effluent systems operate and how effluent affects the on-farm environment and be aware of regional council requirements and their responsibilities to comply with these.  People - Manage and work well with others, building a strong team culture.  Develop an understanding of what makes a good farm team, and how their actions affect the wider team.  Machine, vehicles, and technology - Manage the safe use and maintenance of vehicles on farm as directed by on farm...

We require a senior farm assistant to assist with the day to day running of our 930 cow Spring calving dairy farm 12 minutes out of Bulls Manawatu. We have a great team and we are looking for the right person who will fit in as team culture is really important to us. The successful applicant must be honest, reliable, enthusiastic, motivated and positive. The successful applicant must have excellent communication skill, a minimum of 1 year dairy farming experience.  Duties and responsibilities include: milking, animal health, feeding out, calving, mating and general farm maintenance.  The applicants must be willing to undergo a drug test.
