Looking for herd manager must have two plus years of experience. We are running a farm in Te Kauwhata Waikato region. Role is a day to day jobs including milking, fencing, calf rearing, cleaning sheds, and other daily works. We looking for a honest and reliable worker who is self motivated and confident in deriving a two wheeler , four wheeler and quad bike. It is a sharing accomodation must be smoke pet and alcohol free. There will be more opportunities to grow in future for some one who works hard. 

We are looking for a progressive herd manager for the 2025/2026 season. The job is located at Te Kauwhata Waikato The dairy platform is 220ha, peak milking is 685 cows through a 48a side HB shed. As Herd Manager, you will be in charge of and responsible for the dairy sheds. You will be expected to: • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness to a high standard. • Implement, Monitor and Report on animal Health, Calving and Mating Plans. • Identify and treat animal Health problems. • Management of soil, nutrients, effluent and water to meet environmental regulations. • Support and training of staff and students to further their development. • Safely use and maintain farm vehicles and machinery. We have a zero-tolerance drug policy and use both pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing.
