We are seeking an experienced Herd Manager to help manage a 1,300-cow dairy farm milking through a 60-bale rotary shed. This is a fast-paced farming operation with some steep contour, so previous dairy farming experience is essential. Requirements: Minimum of 12 months' experience as a Herd Manager. Full driver's licence. Drug-free and willing to undergo random drug testing. No criminal convictions. No pets permitted on the farm due to farm policy. Preference will be given to applicants willing to live on the farm due to the requirements of the role. Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off, followed by 6 days on, 1 day off.
