We are looking for a full time Herd Manager on our 550 cow farm located in Gordonton, Hamilton. You will be working alongside the contract milker and Manager on a day to day basis. This job would be perfect for someone that is experienced in all fields of farming including pasture control, animal husbandry, Tractor work and is mechanically minded. The shed is a 44 bail rotary with ACR's and automatic feeding and automatic teat spraying. This farm is 197Ha effective. Have 1 Travelling effluent spreader, will need to be confident in all areas of effluent management. We are only a 15 minute drive from Morrinsville and Hamilton. We have Local School buses to pick up children to and from school and overall are in a nice area.
