This is a full-time, permanent role on an 5 on, 2 off, 6 on 1 off roster. Dairy Support Farm Manager
Lake Heights Farms Ltd Multiple farms (Rerewhakaaitu, Bay of Plenty Region, New Zealand)
A position has become available on Lake Heights Farms Ltd which is apart of the T.H Enterprises group. The Dry Stock Manager will be responsible for the management of the dairy support farm land. Lake Heights runs calves, heifers and bulls so can get up to 1800 head of stock. These blocks also supply silage and winter grazing to two of our dairy farms. The following are some of the tasks included in the role; - Following the animal health plan - Weighing and meeting growth targets and drenching stock - Following the fertilser plan and applications - Pasture management and feeding levels - Maintaining water supply, pest and weed control, farm and machinery maintenance etc - Following farm plans set by the Operations Manager. This position would be ideal for a working couple with duel incomes.  A couple of dogs would be useful. Applicants must have at least 5yrs farming experience and be a New Zealand resident.
