Junior manager/2IC Dairy Farm Position  We are seeking a motivated and capable  2IC (Second in Charge) or trainee manager  to join our team on a  550-cow dairy farm . Our farm operates a  40-aside herringbone shed  and you will be working alongside  two other team members  in a supportive environment. We an opportunity for next season for an experienced farm manager due to manager not turning up.  The farm milks 1250 cows located 10 minutes from Geraldine About the farm: 1250 jersey cows 54 bail rotary, in shed feeding and automatic cup removers Irrigation through pivots and guns Accommodation supplied on farm is either a 3 bedroom home or a 4 bedroom home. The attributes ideally required for this position: • 4 years dairy farming experience in NZ • Be competent in the cowshed • Be able to identify and treat animal health issues • Competent using a tractor and riding motorbikes • Have top pasture allocation experience.
