Hi we are a 970 cow farm in Waikite Valley 20 minutes south of Rotorua made up with 2 cowsheds. We are looking for 2 Fulltime Dairy Farm Assistants to work alongside our farm managers on each farm. A couple of people that are prepared to do an honest days work and able to work in a team environment, putting effort in and working for each other achieving the same goals. One farm runs the young herd and the other farm runs the older cows. The farms calve down together one shed is a colostrum shed with the other being the milking shed, once calving is over they separate into 2 farms again. Both farms are flat to rolling contour, both the sheds are 36 aside herringbone with meal feeders. The farm has a 3 bedroom house available which means accommodation will be shared.
