You must be in New Zealand and already have a current work visa. The farm has a 60 Bale Rotary with  ACRs, Protrack, in-shed feeding, Feed/Standoff pad and Halter. You will be working alongside the farm manager and 3 other full-time staff. We are looking for someone who has/is..... A great sense of humour and strong communication skills. Reliable, honest and physically capable of doing the job. A genuine love for animals and a calm temperament when working with them and the team. Some experience in dairying, or with machinery and/or technology. Able to operating tractors, motorbikes and/or other farm machinery. Milk 800 cows. 40-bail rotary, ACR, and auto teat spray. Fully irrigated. Duties are not limited to: Milking - Assist in an efficient and hygienic milking routine. Follow the procedure to produce high-quality milk. Animals - Assist in safely handling animals and report any health and welfare issues as per farmpolicy. Assist with moving and handling animals safely and observe and report on the well- being of all classes of stock. Feed - Set break fences. Assist with pasture and crop weed control. Environment - Understand how dairy effluent systems operate and how effluent affects the on- farm environment and be aware of regional council requirements and their responsibilities to comply with these.
