Due to a family medical diagnosis with one of our team a position has become available on our farm at short notice. Start date is negotiable due to the timing of this position.  We are a family owned and operated 400ha milking platform, 1000 cow farm, located 30min west of Taupo, in the Marotiri area. We have a 50 ashb shed with Evanza milking clusters, Protrack auto drafting, automatic wash and Cowmanager. We run our own dairy replacements as well as beef and winter on farm on our support land. We have three composting shelters to support our farming system. We offer a 6 on 2 off roster all year round, including 2 late starts each cycle. We have a team of eight including an Operations Manager with additional seasonal temporary staff. Fulltime farm assistant required to cover the Rostered days off of our 3 permanent staff for the busy spring period. You will work 10 days a fortnight  as part of the team doing all jobs through the busy spring calving and mating period. The accommodation is one 4 bedroom house to share with our other farm assistant, a young single guy. You must be in New Zealand, and be able to be interviewed on farm to look at the role.
