Farm Assistant – Dairy, Beef & Sheep South Head, North-West Auckland We are a family-owned farming and contracting business based on the South Head Peninsula of the Kaipara Harbour, in North-West Auckland. Our farming operation includes a 200-cow, once-a-day dairy farm, along with approximately 600ha of beef and sheep finishing across separate blocks. We also operate Caleb Jackson Contracting, our general agricultural contracting business, as well as a fencing crew during winter. We are looking for a reliable and capable Farm Assistant to join our team in a varied, hands-on role across our farming operations. The Role: Approximately 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Smithill Limited is looking for a reliable and motivated Farm Assistant to join the team at Moanui, one of our dairy farms in Western Southland. This is a hands on role covering all aspects of day to day dairy farming. It would suit someone who enjoys working with animals, takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to keep building their practical farming skills.
