Dairy Assistant / Drive in position, Mamaku, Rotorua We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, capable person to join our family-owned dairy farm located at Mamaku, 20 minutes Northwest of Rotorua. This newly created position is available for immediate start and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, is confident working independently, and can step up into greater responsibility when required. Our preference is for this to be a permanent position however we will consider a fixed term role from calving until the end of mating. About the business: The 220 ha farm winters 620 cows and operates as a Dairy NZ “System 3” with in-shed feeding throughout the year and silage fed during the shoulder seasons. The milkers are split into two herds and predominately milked OAD with the exception of one herd which is milked TAD until December.
