A position has become available for a 2IC on a farm 20 mins south of Te Awamutu on flat to steep contouring land. The dairy unit is a system 3 milking 420 cows TAD through a 30ashb with in shed feeding. Day to day operations include milking, animal health management, tractor work, pasture management, and other general farm duties.  This role is suited to someone who already has solid experience dairy farming as it requires you to take over operations when the CM has time off.  Key attributes we are seeking include: a passion for dairy farming experience working with cows and managing animal health confidence riding 2 and 4 wheelers tractor experience particularly on steeper terrains a clear confident communicator with good organisational skills willingness to learn and develop their skills works well independently and as part of a small team reliable Only applicants who are legally entitled to work in New Zealand are able to apply at this time.
