Assistant Manager wanted to assist management to run a 750 cow farm operation near Balfour. The farm is a 320 hectare effective with a 60 bail rotary platform with in-shed feeding, automatic teat spray, auto draft with cow wearing collar to aid with animal health and mating.  The successful applicant will have a proven tract record in pasture management, animal health, staff management and at least 3 years dairy farming experience in New Zealand.

What we are looking for Working closely with the Farm Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day running of a family run dairy platform. This is a hands on role requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to manage daily farm operations when required. Expectations Minimum 4 years New Zealand dairy farming experience, including previous Herd Manager or Assistant Manager roles.
