We are looking for a 2IC who has the experience to support the farm manager. You will be expected to be able to run the farm on the days off for the manager.  You must be       keen and enthusiastic                              a NZ citizen                             a good communicator                             be able to farm in a compliant manner                             be quiet around stock                             run the farm dairy by yourself                            be a competent driver on hills                            be fit and healthy and drug free Ideally you are someone that wishes to make a career in the industry. There are opportunities to carry out training while on the farm and potentially opportunities on other farms in the future. The farm is well set up and a system 2/3 farm with in-shed feeding.
