Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for a keen and motivated person to assist our team with the daily running of a 600 cow farm in Opio.  this position is flexible whether it be part time or full time, fixed term or permanent. There is a 3 bedroom home available for the right applicant and we are happy to tailor the job to suit.  farm is a tidy 200 ha unit with 40 aside herringbone with ACR, Protrack, walk over teat sprayer, and more. Milkings are quick and efficient always milking with one other staff member.  an excellent remuneration package is on offer to the suitable applicant. Due to a change in circumstances we are looking for 2x team members from the beginning of September to join our team full time. We milk 750 cows through a modern 54 bail rotary that is centrally located. Our roster is 6 days on 1 day off over calving with the remaining season 6 days on 2 days off. Accommodation available is: 1x large 4 bedroom house with a heatpump & gas hot water 1x small 2 bedroom cottage with a heatpump We are not accredited employers so you must have the legal right to work in NZ. Experience is required.

Top 400 cows twice a day, the rest once a day morning only, everything once a day March to end of May. We have a system that allows for not getting cows in, they walk themselves to milking while the coffees being drunk. Calves are grazed off farm from January till they return in May the following year as in calf. All ground work is done in house so plenty of tractor work available. We are looking for a permanent staff member to jump aboard our team once our Scottsman's visa has run out in November. Preferably chasing a character that knows how to jump into battle when the busy time is on. Our business specialises in clearing and removing animal bedding from sheds, so this is a hands-on role involving machinery operation and physical work. We’re looking for someone who: ● Can preferably operate a tractor / skid steer and other machinery ● Is physically fit and comfortable with manual labour ● Has a strong understanding of health and safety and can follow safe work procedures ● Is reliable, practical and has a good work ethic ● Can work well as part of a team ● Holds a current driver licence ● Can pass a pre-employment drug test Experience with farming, machinery or similar physical work would be an advantage, but reliability, safety and a willingness to get stuck in are most important. Competitive pay based on experience.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. We rear ~70 replacement calves and they stay on farm until 1st May. This is a great opportunity to work with the farm owners and set yourself up for a great career in dairying.
