We are looking for a motivated farmer to run our 150ha dairy farm on the Ruawai Flats as a Contract Milker or Lower Order Sharemilker. A great candidate will be someone who treats the farm and the animals like their own, with a desire to continually improve. With farm owners living off farm, you will be able to stamp your mark on the business. Attracting the right candidate is important to us, so we are flexible in how the Contract or Lower Order agreement is structured alongside supporting your development towards what you want to achieve in this great industry.
We run a primarily grass based system, on a centrally raced 150ha property with a nearby 89ha runoff that rears the youngstock alongside some dairy beef and provides silage for the dairy platform. Two quality houses are provided and the township of Ruawai has all you need, as well as being on the doorstep of the best snapper fishing harbour in NZ!
Our existing Lower Order Sharemilker is moving closer to their home province. They are willing to provide references to any candidates on the farm and how we are as owners.
If you are looking to take the next step in your farming journey, please send through your CV or should you want to talk through the opportunity in more detail, please call/text me on 027 610 9614.
