Dairy shed, 60 bale rotary with cup removers (one person milking), Waikato plant, Protrack drafting, automatic teat spray. In shed feeding. Grain crusher Palm kernel/concentrate Molasses running from a Mineraliser (suspended mag, lime, trace minerals etc).
Irrigation, 8 centre pivot irrigators. 6 runs of k line, approx. 30 long line sprinklers.
Wintering, off farm at graziers but CM to feed cows (with Halter). Kale and/or oats with baleage and straw for 2027 winter.
Calf rearing, Ad-lib feeding in modern tunnel house system. 270-300 Heifer calves to be reared in spring 2027. Approx 100 bull/beef calves sold at 4 days old. Calf rearing equipment provided.
Current Contract Milker has progressed to farm ownership for 2027/2028.
