Herd Manager – Kaitaia
We are seeking a motivated Herd Manager to join our dairy farming team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in dairy farming, strong practical skills, and hands‑on exposure on a New Zealand dairy farm.
Key Responsibilities: Milking and dairy hygiene, animal health and calving, pasture and feed management, effluent and environmental compliance, machinery operation, and supporting other staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Level 4 qualification preferably in Farming or Agriculture
Practical farm exposure/experience on a NZ dairy farm - milking, animal handling, and daily farm operations
Good communication skills and reliability
Commitment to farm safety and sustainable practices
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Pre‑employment drug test required
Driver’s License required
What We Offer:
Annual Salary $60,000

Accommodation will be provided at $200 per week

6 and 2 from March to September, 9 and 3 October to February
