50/50 Sharemilker Opportunity – Pirongia Area

Our clients are seeking a progressive and motivated 50/50 Sharemilker for their well-established dairy operation in the Pirongia area, Waikato.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-performing farming business with excellent infrastructure, a strong production history, and supportive farm owners who value profit-focused, pasture-based dairying.

The Farm

• 240ha effective dairy platform
• 750 cows milked
• Consistent production of 280,000-290,000 kgMS
• System 2 farming operation
• Approximately 0.5 tonne of purchased supplement per cow
• Focus on pasture utilisation and efficient milk production
• Summer crops grown to support the pasture-based system

Infrastructure

• 44-aside herringbone cowshed
• 350-cow feed pad
• Additional 14-aside herringbone shed used for colostrum cows
• Four houses on farm
• Well-maintained infrastructure and farm facilities

Who We Are Looking For

The farm owners are looking for a progressive Sharemilker who enjoys operating a low-input, high-profit farming system.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• High standards of farm presentation and maintenance
• Proven ability to achieve strong production and animal performance outcomes
• A commitment to efficient and profitable farming practices
