This position is for a Stock person on a DRY STOCK BEEF FARM based in Okuku.
1300ha of flat to rolling terrain. Predominantly Bull and Angus Prime finishing operation. You will have prior experience with cattle and a good stock sense. You will need to be confident working in yards with stock. Experience driving tractors on rolling hills and have good general farming skills like fencing & R&M and a practical mind etc. Take pride in your work, working independently and with others. This is a role where experience is required yet you will have opportunities to grow your skills and further experience.
You will need a good level of fitness, be strong and of good health.
You will need your own team of working dogs under good command. Your dogs will be working with you daily.
