Ohauiti Farm: Relief Milker

Ohauiti Farm is a family-owned well-established dairy farm situated in Culverden. The farm is a 40 aside herringbone, with in-shed feeding and a Protrack herd welfare monitoring system. You will be required to exhibit enthusiasm and have great communication skills.

You will need to be honest, reliable and with a sense of humour. This is an assistant level position, and you will need the following experience and skills:

Experience/Skills:

  • Ability to milk cows with an emphasis on maintaining milk quality
  • Ability to maintain a well-kept tidy work environment in line with health and safety needs and good working practices
  • Support with animal health programmes and uphold animal welfare standards
  • Accuracy with record keeping
