You will be working in an established family owned business running 650 dairy cows with runoff located near Matamata. You will assist, with your experience, in hands-on upkeep of machinery, infrastructure, and land to keep the pastoral dairy operations running smoothly.
We have our own machinery so duties range from mowing, spraying, fencing, feeding-out, race repairs, water maintenance etc. Extensive stock knowledge enabling the handling of stock quietly with assistance during calving, drenching of stock, break feeding etc.
Our new staff member would be honest, punctual and hardworking with good communication skills. This person would need to be a problem solver and be self motivated. Organising your day, reporting to the Farm Operations Manager, along with communicating and assisting other people in the team will be a daily task.
This person must be a citizen or resident living in New Zealand or are currently in New Zealand with a valid work visa. A drug test will be required.
We are offering a competitive salary for an experienced person for this drive-in position, located 12kms from Matamata.
