We are looking for a reliable and hardworking dairy farm assistant or herd manager to join our team in Ikawai, South Canterbury đ.
We peak milk 640 cows through a 60 bail rotary with ACRs and an Allflex drafting gate. The farm is flat and is well set up with two centre pivots and K-line irrigation.
The role will include:
General dairy farm duties
Assisting with milking and getting cows in
General maintenance
Shifting break fencesÂ
Stock work and animal careÂ
About you:
We are looking for someone who is keen, has a positive attitude and can work well in a team and pull their weight.Â
Some dairy farm experience is preferred.Â
Must be living in New Zealand and be legally able to work in New Zealand.
Hold at least a restricted drivers license.
Reliable and hardworking.
Willing to work as part of a team as well as independently.
We are accredited employers(AEWV).Â
Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience.Â

We are looking for a farm assistant to join our team for the 25/26 season from the 1st of June 2025.
The dairy platform is 172 hectares effective, peak milking 650 cows through a 60 bale rotary twice a day.
There will be a variety of tasks which will include:
No previous experience needed, full training will be provided.
The farm is located 15 minutes inland from Glenavy, 25 minutes south of Waimate and 35 minutes from Oamaru.
Accommodation is available on farm.
