We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Farm Assistant to join our team on our dairy farm near Invercargill (new river ferry)
We milk around 750 cows on a busy dairy farm. This is a hands on role and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, is reliable and is keen to get stuck into a range of farm duties. Experience not essential.
The role will include:
General dairy farm duties
Stock work and animal care
Fencing and general maintenance
Shifting breaks and other day to day farm jobs
Assisting with milking
Calf and young stock care when required
Helping keep the farm and yards running smoothly
The crew
You will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team who are easy going, work well together and are happy to help someone settle in. We are looking for someone who will fit in with the team, pull their weight and have a good attitude towards the job.
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable and hardworking
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working around livestock
Willing to learn and take direction
Hold at least restricted licenseÂ

We are looking for a motivated and reliable person to join our team in a full time junior farm position. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get into the dairy industry and learn on the job.
The role involves a variety of farm tasks, working alongside a supportive team of six on a busy dairy farm.
