Due to our current 2IC wanting to leave to be closer to family we now looking for someone to fill our role as 2IC. We will be milking 440-450 cows in a 37 A/S H/B shed,twice a day on150Ha dairy platform.Our farm is located 15 minutes from Greytown, Martinborough and Featherston. Our local school is
2km's away with a school bus at the gate.
Accommodation is a 3bdrm home, enclosed single garage and small shed
adjoining the garage. Warm home, neat and tidy, suitable for a small family.
We are looking for a team player, with 2 or more years of experience, who
will get stuck in and get the jobs done. Able to work efficiently milking,
calving, shifting irrigators, feeding out, and just enjoys farm work and
cows. You will need to be able to ride a motorbike, be competent in using
machinery to feed out hay, baleage and silage.A current NZ drivers license is essential.

We do conduct pre-employment drug testing, and you will have no serious
criminal convictions.
Our roster is 8 on, 2 off. 6 on 1 off over the calving period (August/September)
Competitive salary will be offered, depending
on experience.
