50/50 Herd Owning Sharemilker Opportunity

Morrinsville | Start 1 June 2027

An excellent opportunity is available for a motivated 50/50 Herd Owning Sharemilker to join a well-established dairy operation located 20km north of Morrinsville.

This is a 64ha effective dairy farm milking 240 cows, supported by a nearby 40ha run-off block. The farm has a proven history of strong production, achieving up to 104,000kgMS, through a simple, low-cost, pasture-based system.

All-grass system with turnips, maize, hay and grass silage

We are looking for someone who:

Is a genuine 50/50 herd owning sharemilker
Can supply 240 breeding cows
Sharemilker to be working onsite
Has excellent pasture management skills
Understands high production, low-cost farming systems
Takes pride in stock, pasture, and farm presentation
Can work within and follow a proven farm system
Values strong communication and long-term relationships

Agreement Details

Start date: 1 June 2027
3-year contract
Farm operating policies and expectations will form part of the sharemilking agreement

This opportunity will suit an ambitious sharemilker looking for a profitable Waikato operation with a proven system focused on producing strong results from home-grown feed.
