We are now currently looking for an Experienced Farm Assistant to take on a permanent role through the rest of the 26 season and hopefully the next aswell.
This position will cover Milking, Calf feeding/rearing, Feeding out to herds and general farm maintenance
A Warm tidy three bedroom cottage will be provided on farm
We milk 380 Cows at peak through an internal 50 bale rotary on a nice rolling farm. we feed out in the paddocks hay, maize and grass silage, need to be confident on a two wheeler and machinery I.e tractors, milk on there own, complete tasks on time.
the farm is located 10 minutes out of Putaruru 5 minutes from Arapuni
We are currently milking 370 cows through a 50 bale internal rotary on a 130ha flat to rolling country with some steeper hill sides
