ENTRY-LEVEL FARM ASSISTANT WANTED – RONGAHERE / CLYDEVALE
START DATE: 6TH OCTOBER 2026
Looking for someone reliable, keen to learn and ready to get stuck in!
We have a position available on our 750-cow dairy farm, located in the Rongahere area – only 5 minutes from Clydevale and 30 minutes from Balclutha.
What’s involved:
• Milking & getting cows in
• Fencing
• Feeding stock
• Weed spraying
• General farm work
• Plenty of opportunity to learn
Roster: 5 on / 2 off until the end of mating, then 10 on / 4 off
1-bedroom house with heat pump available on farm
No farming experience needed! We’re more interested in someone with the right attitude who is reliable, willing to learn and turns up ready for work.
Restricted licence or higher
Own reliable transport
Legally able to work in NZ
Comfortable with early mornings
Reliable and punctual
Willing to work hard and learn
