Southern Vegetation Control 2026 Ltd is looking for a reliable, motivated Spray Truck Operator to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating modern machinery, and taking pride in doing a quality job, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

You’ll be operating a modern spray truck across Southland and Otago, carrying out agricultural and vegetation spraying for a wide range of clients. Every day is different, with a mix of cropping and vegetation control work in some of the best country the South has to offer.

What you’ll be doing

* Operating a spray truck safely and efficiently

* Applying agrichemicals accurately using GPS-guided equipment

* Mixing and handling chemicals in line with NZ safety standards

* Completing daily vehicle and equipment maintenance

* Keeping accurate job and spray records

* Providing professional service while working independently and as part of a team

What we’re looking for

* Full NZ driver’s licence (Class 2 is an advantage)

* Growsafe or agrichemical qualification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

* Experience operating agricultural machinery is highly regarded

* Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills

* Reliable, honest, and able to work long hours during the busy season

* Strong communication and attention to detail
