I am on the lookout for an experienced hands on calf rearer to assist me with rearing 240 heifer replacements plus beef. We are through the bulk of calving so it would be maintaining high standards of the calves coming through as well as attention to detail for the older calves. Being physically fit is important as there is a lot of lifting. And a love of animals is a must as their welfare is top priority.
The farm is located approximately 10 minutes from Leeston.
This is strictly a drive in role.
Days and hours are flexible but there is 2 weeks in September/October I’ll be away so would need someone available for those 2 weeks.
