Due to unforseen circumstances we are seeking an experienced and hard-working person to join us as a a farm assistant on our 440 cow Dairy Farm just South of Stratford in as soon as possible. We are a system 4 farm with a 40 aside hearing bone shed with ACR's and automatic teat spraying. We have datamars collars. Our young stock are on farm or at nearby runoffs until May each season.
We have a feed-pad and mixer wagon and we do most of our own supplement on the platform and run-offs close by including silage and maize.
We are after someone who is proficient in driving tractors and implements as well as being very competent in the shed. You will be working along side our Assistant Manager and ourselves. While we will be working with you on farm, we also both work off-farm and have a young family so you will need to be able to run the farm sole-charge (or in partnership with our other staff member) at times during the season.
We have a 2 bedroom cottage available with the job which is located on farm.

305-320 cows.
In-shed feeding, feed-pad, rearing 70-90 heifers, spring calving July- September.
