We are looking for a motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our progressive farming team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed at least one season in the New Zealand dairy industry and is keen to develop their skills within a modern, large-scale farming business.

About the Role

As a Dairy Farm Assistant, you'll work alongside an experienced team and be involved in the day-to-day running of our dairy operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Milk harvesting and maintaining high milking standards.
  • Shed hygiene and ensuring the dairy is clean and well presented.
  • Animal health observations and reporting.
  • Assisting with stock movements and general livestock care.
  • General farm duties and maintenance.
  • Working as part of a team to achieve high standards of animal welfare, production, and farm presentation.

What We're Looking For

The successful applicant will have:

  • At least one full season of New Zealand dairy farming experience.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in the dairy industry.
