We are seeking an experienced farm assistant, you will be joining a team consisting of husband and wife contract milkers, a female 2IC as well as relief milkers/temporary staff to cover busy periods.
We peak milk 880 cows through a 60 bail rotary shed with in shed feeding, ACRs, Protack and Sensehub collars. The farm is majority pivot irrigation with some k-line. We are located between Dunsandel and Hororata, only 30 minutes from Rolleston.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
REQUIREMENTS:
- One year New Zealand dairy farming experience
- Forward thinking
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Efficiency when carrying out tasks
- Hold a full NZ drivers license
- Drug free
THE ROLE INCLUDES
