We are a close-knit family who own and operate our beautiful 1500 cow farm located just 10 mins from Dunsandel. With stunning views of Mt Hutt, you could not choose a better place to work, and not just because of the views but due to the fact we consider ourselves to be good employers who offer opportunity to grow your career in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our farm is immaculate; we have a 60-bail rotary shed with ACR and Auto Drafting and our cows are monitored with the latest technology in wearable collars. We now seek to fill 2 positions of herd manager. Reporting directly to our manager you will be responsible for producing the highest quality milk, taking care of our cow health and wellbeing, assisting with feeding out (so you must be able to drive a tractor), fencing, irrigation etc. We are happy to teach you skills, but you must come to us with a good attitude, a willingness to learn, have a strong work ethic and be a great communicator. We have a lovely team that consists of a mix of Kiwi’s and migrants, but we all get along and support each other. Our teenage kids like to get involved and help out when they can as well. There is no “I” in our team.
