About the Role

This position is fixed-term for the duration of the calving season, with an anticipated finish at the end of November 2026 (or by agreement), when seasonal staffing requirements reduce.

  • Be reliable, punctual and honest.
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Be calm and confident handling livestock.
  • Take pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Follow instructions and farm procedures.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Hold a current driver's licence (preferred).

Previous dairy farming experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to the right applicant.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay.
  • Flexible roster options.
  • A modern farming operation utilising Halter virtual fencing technology.
  • A supportive and respectful team environment.
  • Opportunities for additional hours during the season.
  • A tidy three-bedroom farmhouse is available to rent by separate agreement for applicants requiring accommodation.
