Job Description

Experienced Calf Rearer Wanted – Pahiatua (Drive-In)

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Calf Rearer for the upcoming calving season. This is a full-time (7 days a week), drive-in position located in the Makomako / Pahiatua area. 

Position Details:

  • Start Date: 20 July 2026
  • Duration: Through to the end of August (with the potential to extend depending on circumstances)
  • Farm Scale: Calving 385 cows, minimal bobbies, with most calves reared through to weaning
  • Remuneration: Competitive pay rate based on your experience and ability to work independently

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in calf rearing
  • Ability to manage daily tasks with minimal supervision
  • Excellent work ethic and reliability
  • References required
