We are looking for a part time person on our 750 cow farm approx. 2mins from Pirongia and less than 10mins from Te Awamutu.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Reliable and punctual.
Able to work independently.
Good stock sense and animal handling skills.
Physically fit and capable of outdoor work in all weather.
Good communication skills.
Commitment to animal welfare and milk quality.
Jobs included but not limited to:
- milking cows
- vat wash
- cleaning cow shed/yards etc
- monitoring/managing cow health
- moving/shifting cows
- putting up/moving break fences
- helping with cows and calves during calving
- general farm tasks
