Assistant Calf Rearers (2 Positions) – Casual (Until Mid-September)
We are looking for two enthusiastic Assistant Calf Rearers to join our team for the calf rearing season through to mid-September.
You'll be involved in the day-to-day care and feeding of young calves across our two dairy farms:
- 850-cow dairy farm rearing:
- 200 replacement heifers
- 150 beef calves
- 1,200-cow dairy farm rearing:
Key Responsibilities
- Feeding milk and meal to calves
- Monitoring calf health and wellbeing
- Cleaning and maintaining calf sheds and equipment
- Assisting with general calf rearing duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
- A genuine interest in animal care
- Previous calf rearing experience is an advantage but not essential, as training can be provided
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
