We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic and wish's to grow and progress in the dairy industry. We are seeking one full time short term casual position to help over the calving period.
Applicant is to be reliable, honest, enjoy working with animals and in the outdoors .
You must be physically fit & able bodied.
This position is to assist and support the current farm manager in the day to day running of the dairy farm.
Jobs included will be milking including the shed set up and clean up. Shifting and feeding stock, break fencing, feeding out silage & assisting with weed control. Assisting with calving and calf rearing during the calving season.
We are looking for a person who is a good communicator and works well in a team as you will be working with 3 other full time staff.
Applicants must have 2 good references from previous employers and be drug free. Some dairy farming experience would be beneficial.
A working visa or holiday visa for NZ is required and must be present in NZ
