Manage the day-to-day care and welfare of the dairy herd. Carry out milking efficiently while maintaining high milk quality and hygiene standards. Monitor animal health, identify sick or injured animals, and administer basic treatments or report issues promptly. Assist with calving Move stock safely between paddocks and assist with grazing management. Operate and maintain milking equipment and farm machinery safely. Maintain farm facilities, fences, water systems, and general farm infrastructure. Keep accurate records of animal health, milk production, treatments, and farm activities.
