McFetridge Farms is a family‑owned and operated dairy business running two well‑established units on Omanawa Road.
The main unit milks 250 mature cows twice‑a‑day through a 20‑aside herringbone shed, farmed across 70 hectares of flat to rolling contour.
Average annual production for this herd is approximately 110,000–115,000 kgMS.
The second unit milks 180 young cows (2–3 years old) once‑a‑day through a 14‑aside herringbone shed on 55 hectares of rolling to steep country.
This herd produces 50,000–55,000 kgMS annually.
Both dairy sheds are equipped with in‑shed feed systems, supporting consistent production, efficient operation, and strong animal performance across the business.
