I am looking for 01 Farm Assistant position for the Farm,
Milking 900 cows and 60 bale rotary shed.
We require efficiency and motivation.
Your role is to take responsibility for daily tasks such as running of the dairy,
effluent management, feeding. Manage pasture and animal health ,
Also Crop feeding and Calf feeding. weed controlling, shed cleaning,
Look for opportunities to work more effectively and efficiently to improve the business.
You must have a valid drivers license,
roster 6 days on 2 days off, Minimum guaranteed 30hrs per week.
Your salary will be paid hourly rate ,24$ Per hour
share accommodation
You must have a clear criminal record , drugs free You will be expected to do a pre employment and random drug testing if employed, No smoking of vaping on farm.
No pets You must live on farm due to the requirements of the job
SunnyRidge Valley Dairies is approximately 643 ha effective. We are located in Tuatapere (25 minutes to Riverton, 50 minutes to Invercargill ). We milk 1400 cross cows through a two rotary shed.
