We are looking for farm assistant
320ha with a herd of 940 cows peak
We milk twice a day.
Duties will include
- -Getting cows in early morning
- - MUST BE SOMEONE with GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT is top priority
- -Milking and keeping the shed clean and hygienic to produce high quality milk
- - Weed control and general farm maintenance
- - Assist in break fences
- - Assist in calf rearing
- - Experience in riding a 2-wheeler & a 4-wheeler (training will be provided)
- - Following all health and safety policies and help to achieve farm goals
You must:
- Be honest, reliable and hardworking
- Able to work both in a team environment and unsupervised
- Must be able to pass a drug test & we do random drug test through out the season.
- calves management and feeding
- carry out the day-to-day activities
- Must follow farm plans, procedures and instructions
- Able to work alone and in a team environment with a strong sense of accountability and communication
- Record keeping Accurately
- Attend company meetings as assigned.
- Fix and maintain fences and water supplies for stock
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Training can be provided must be willing to learn and grow.
- A level 4 Qualification AND/OR a minimum of one year of experience in farming (dairy, cropping, horticulture, viticulture) is preferred
- MUST BE A NON-SMOKER AS WE GOT NO-SMOKING POLICY IMPLEMENTED ONTHE FARM & IN THE HOUSES.

Shared accommodation
Must be respectful to other Staff on farm and at houses
Minimum of 30hours/week guaranteed.
Roster 8 days on 2 off. Roster rotating depending non busy and busy times
Wage: $24-28 (according to experience)
$200-350 Rent will be deducted weekly from wages. Depending on accommodation.

Must have No convictions (A ministry of Justice check will be completed).
