An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled and motivated 50% sharemilker to operate a well-presented dairy farm at Inchbonnie, on the South Island’s West Coast.

The farm comprises a 265 ha effective dairy platform, supported by two nearby runoff blocks totalling 140 ha effective. The property is budgeted to milk 480 cows, with 500 cows wintered, targeting 200,000kgMS. The farm supplies Westland Milk Products, Hokitika.

This tidy and well-maintained property has been operated by an established owner/operator for close to 40 years, and more recently by contract milkers for the past eight seasons. It is run as a dedicated milking platform, with replacement livestock grazed on the runoff blocks and cows wintered on farm.

 The farm is located approximately 50 minutes from Greymouth, which offers most services, along with primary and secondary schooling. The closest primary school is at Moana, with a school bus available at the gate.
