We’re looking for a motivated and reliable 2IC to join our team on a North Otago dairy farm.
This role would suit someone with solid dairy farming experience who is ready to take the next step and be involved in the day-to-day running of the farm alongside supportive employers and a good team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Milking and shed management
- Animal health and mating
Feeding and pasture management
- Tractor work and general farm duties
- Supporting staff and helping keep the farm running smoothly day to day

- Has previous dairy farming experience
- Can work independently and show initiative
- Has good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Takes pride in their work and works well within a team
- Is reliable, honest, and organised
